Level 5 · Marine Upholstery 1 – Basic
This 5-day workshop teaches how to pattern, measure, cut and sew basic and advanced boat cushions, including zippers, welt (piping), color striping, hanging side bolsters, track-welt and more.
You'll make a variety of cushions, including a contoured V-berth cushion, to take home. We teach multiple patterning techniques for designing, patterning, cutting foam and fabricating more complicated upholstery. Each student has their own sewing machine during the course.
A great class for beginners and upholstery veterans alike. Completion of the Basic Workshop, or prior sewing experience, is required.
