Level 2 · Advanced Workshop

This 5-day workshop is for students who have taken the Basic Workshop and want more training, or for anyone who has worked in a canvas shop and wants shortcuts and easier methods for producing quality custom canvas. We recommend it for anyone serious about marine fabrication as a full-time profession.

The curriculum covers more difficult items such as zippered bow pockets, leak-proof aft windows, fitting and patterning methods and frame bending. The main focus is frame construction, fitting, sewing and installing a boat top, side curtains and an aft curtain.

You'll sew your own boat top, side window-curtain and aft curtain to take home as a reference. Each student has their own sewing machine during the course. The Advanced Workshop follows the Basic Workshop.

• Reserve your seat with a $500 deposit or pay in full. The balance is due 15 days before class.
• Limited to 11 students. Classes need at least 5 students to run.
